This photography series explores the essence of form and the impact of light and color observed in the Northern New Mexico sky. It is in the transitions of sunset, twilight and dusk that hints of layers of worlds are more prominent, revealing forces of light and darkness - sometimes dramatic and other times gently divine. Removing the surrounding landscape, I abstract and isolate morphing energies, bringing forth moments that express the awe and mystery of the 'Upper World'.
These images are printed in 2 formats: fine art paper and metal. The metal is an ultra contemporary look. The print is created using a process called dye sublimation where the dye is infused inside the metal with a satin finish resulting in luminous and vibrant colors. The prints are scratch resistant, waterproof and ready to hang. The paper prints are printed on Hahnemuhle fine art paper using archival pigment inks producing rich deep colors. They are ready for customized matting and framing.
